- Wait 30 minutes after eating to brush which allows the mouth to dilute acids.
- Floss or use a water pick or soft picks between your teeth gently.
- Avoid candy, soda, spicy and acidic foods as much as possible.
- Avoid alcohol and tobacco products.
- You will need to see your dentist more often than in the past.
- Your dentist may offer a more potent fluoride to brush with or other dry mouth products.
